Where to get a rescue Schnauzer?

Good afternoon
We are looking to rehome a schnauzer... ideally not a puppy. We are a family of 5, including 3 boys aged 11-16.
Please can you point us in the right direction?

We got our first rescue mini from a small local rescue centre. When he died we tried all the well-known contacts (as mentioned by others), without success. Charlie came to us via the Miniature Schnauzer Club which has a rescue section. Do be careful! Rescue dogs can come with some serious problems. Charlie was 4. He had one year of bliss on his own and then 3 years of being unwanted after the owner had a baby. I thought that we were not going to win with him but now, after 4 years with us, he is almost normal!

Hi you could look at the preloved and gumtree websites for people looking to rehome as they can still advertise animals for sale. 5 years ago we got our 2nd mini via one of theses sites from someone who needing to rehome her 8 month old puppy as her home circumstances changed. Now 6 years , name changed she is a lovely dog and company for our other 9 year mini. Good luck in your search.
