Ted in Liverpool needs a new home

Ted is a stunningly handsome 2 and 1/2 year old male standard salt and pepper schnauzer, he is a KC registered pedigree and truly the most handsome standard you will have seen.
Fortunately for us we have two very young children, very close together (still babies) but unfortunately for Ted we cannot give him the love and attention he deserves.
He has a superb temperament with adults, children and other dogs. He just wants to play with all.
Walks and play are what Ted loves, chasing balls and his friends in the park.
He is used to being groomed every 12 weeks, but we love him when he needs grooming as a hairy little bear - he is the darker dog in the pictures. I will take a picture and add it when he gets groomed in a day/two as he looks like a show dog (for a few hours anyway)
Ted is our No1 baby, so I will only let him go to a very good home ideally with a sizeable back garden that he is used to - he loves the outdoors and hates squirrels.
A very very sad Gregg and Karen

ted the standard scouser schnauzer
by: ann

hi we have had schnauzers for over 34 years minis standards and giants !! We lost our last mini in Feb this year aged 14 and our big girl Russian black has grieved all year for her despite being visited by family dogs when daughters and son visit daily. We do feel that maybe a permanent partner may suffice so if ted is still available perhaps we could meet and ser if our big girl likes him.
. thanks fellow
. scouser Ann and hope x x

Poor old Ted
by: Vicki

Has Ted found a home yet?
We lost our lovely Izzy at age 15 about 4 months ago, she was our third standard schnauzer. It seems odd that after 40 years of dog ownership we are now dogless.
I have just had a replacement knee operation and feel that we are now able to consider having a four footed friend around the house again, but a friend who must love children (our grandchildren!) and our fat elderly cat.
Would be interested to know if Ted is still looking for a new home.

Ted
by: Gregg

Thanks for all of your interest

Just to confirm Ted is a standard schnauzer not a mini

My wife and I think he would be an ideal companion and playmate for another dog

Or a companion for a retired/home based couple who love walking and maybe the outdoors

Ted is great with kids and has a great family temperament but standards do need walking and love playing with other dogs on walks/in the park

We now have our second baby home (who arrived early!) so your help is very much appreciated

Also I do not want any money for Ted even though we have spent s lot of money on buying and caring for him with his insurances/injections etc - it is all about the right home for Ted

As ever feel free to contact me via the site or on 0774 777 3009
