Standartd Schnauzer looking for a new home

by Natasha

Hi we have very reluctantly a 2yr old male boy who is upto date with all injections, micro chipped and neutered. His territorial barking in the house has drove my husband bonkers unfortunately we have a very large full length to floor large window that looks out onto the street so anyone walking past he barks at but does not do this when out walking. He likes two big walks a day but I am away more and more with work, would only release to a very lovely home with the time to pamper him

Uncontrollable barking
by: Anonymous

We had the same problem. We used a pet corrector which is simply a spray which make a hissing noise when used. Everytime our dog barks we use the spray, obviously away from him. Now we only have to show him the spray and he stops instantly. We bought it at pets and us

A home for your boy
by: Sarah

Dear Natasha,

I would be delighted to provide a new home for your lovely boy. I have always had standard schnauzers so know the breed and their characteristics really well. I live in a rural village with plenty of walks and walk twice a day for an hour at a time. In addition I have a large garden. I am home every day - obviously popping out for shopping but he would not be on his own for more than 2 hours maximum. It would be lovey to speak to you and arrange to meet him. I can be contacted on 07967 336 828. Look forward to hearing from you. Sarah

hi there,

I am interested in your boy. I currently have a 6year old mini boy and he is exactly the same. We have a large garden front and back of my property and I'm at home most of the day as my working hours at the moment are minimal. My boy gets a decent long walk on a morning and the same on a night (but this is shorter during the winter with it being darker)

I have been toying with the idea of a play mate for my Dex for a number of months as he doesn't like being left alone so maybe a companion would help him overcome this (I only work 4 hours a day and he is only left 3 by the time my husband returns)
