Seeking Mini or Standard after loss, Cheshire, Dec 29th '23

by Abel
(Crewe, cheshire )

I live in Crewe, Cheshire and have just lost my beloved schnauzer.
I am looking for another miniature or standard schnauzer from 1 year old upwards as a companion for myself.
I am 70years old and lost without my schnauzer willing to travel if necessary

Rehoming Schnauzers!
by: Anonymous

Before making a rash decision to rehome any Schnauzer please contact one of the breed Rescue Co-ordinators, we care about the breed and aim to help the dog and owner come to the best outcome without judging! Life is never straightforward but I will help.make it less complicated!

Rehome
by: Anonymous

Dear Abel there is a chance I can help . We have a gorgeous mini who is 7 months very well trained and so loving . She is used to walks and going places but she can be reactive to people in the house which we are working on and have seen good progress . Unfortunately my husband and I are not on the same page and it’s causing a lot of stress and tension in our home . I am not sure what to do but if the right home came along I would consider it . It’s that or I rehome him which is temping 😂

rescue sites
by: Izzy

Hi sorry to hear of your loss- have a look at some of the rescue sites for an older dog (some will have age restrictions for the humans!) - all have websites and facebook pages

many tears - one male not ready for adoption yet
foal farm - one female
rspca - none but they do have
dogs friends - had some
dogs trust -none but they do
friends of animals wales - often do

keep checking the sites and any local rescues to you
good luck

Very sorry for your loss
by: Linda

Dear Abel,
so sorry for your loss. Our Schnauzers really are members of the family and it's so hard when they pass.
We don't have Schnauzers to rehome ourselves, we put people who have one to rehome in touch with those offering a new home.
Hopefully somebody in your area will contact you if they are looking for a new home for their Schnauzer,
You can try The Miniature Schnauzer Club Re-Home and Rescue Trust - contact Caroline Wareing on 01242 696 768.
Or Schnauzerfest on Facebook
The Schnauzer Club of Great Britain helps to rehome all three sizes. You can contact them online at https://www.schnauzerclub.co.uk/contact.php
And the co-ordinator for Northern Schnauzer Rescue is Pamela Ciceri (based in North Yorkshire) Pamela.ciceri@btinternet.com They also help to rehome Schnauzers and will have rescue contacts throughout GB.
Good luck,
Linda
PS Add a comment with your email address so people can contact you if they have a Schnauzer to rehome.
