We are looking to adopt a rescue dog to our home. We have have dogs all of our lives and currently have a shih tzu and a rescued northern Inuit. Both are lovely dogs and get on well with other dogs. We no longer have children after we lost our daughter to cancer. We feel we could give schnauzer a good loving home and would be a fantastic addition to our household. We live in Liverpool right behind croxteth park where we take the dogs very day on walks. The shih tzu is 10 years old and the husky is about 3 . We have had 3 dog before

See my post called 'Garras'

we have a standard schnauzer that needs a new home as his current home has not worked out. He has a problem with sore feet, which is likely to be an allergy-based problem that gets bad when its wet. His current owners do not want to deal with this issue, so we are rehoming him. We will pay for his treatment, but we need someone to help him through the treatment. This means administering steroid cream and antibiotics and washing and keeping his feet dry. We can provide a preventative lotion once the treatment has the condition under control. He is currently on hypoallergenic food, which we can provide, should this turn out to be a food allergy.
He is currently based in Hampshire. He is 4 years old, 58 cm, and 17 kg. He is very good with people and children. He walks well on the lead. He's very happy and loves to meet people. He loves being groomed and fussed. He's fine with dogs and cats (he lives with a cat).

So sorry for your loss, Rodney. Yours sounds like a wonderful home for a Schnauzer - and thank you for the photo, it made us smile.
We don't have dogs to rehome ourselves but hope that someone who does want to rehome one in your area will contact you.
All the best.
