Retired couple living in France looking for mini schnauzer 26.07.19

Hi, We have lived in France for 20 years and for the past 30 years have rescued dogs of many varieties. 2 years ago our wonderful Hamish, a 23 year old Dutch schapendoe cross retriever passed. We now feel the time is right to have another companion. We have always adored minis and would offer a wonderful home in the country, with lots of lovely walks. Hi we are in Brittany- northern France with our schnauzer and now one yorkie cross rescue dog (2 weeks in). We came from Uk with two minis but lost one this year to cancer. There aren't many schnauzers in this part of France- we only seen one or two since we been here. Try the facebook group as there are a number of people living in france and some do come up for rehoming in france. Good luck in your search.

I know the Dordogne well, a wonderful area and lots of lovely country walks for a Schnauzer!
We don't have Schnauzers to rehome ourselves, we put people who have one to rehome in touch with those offering a new home. Hopefully somebody in your area will contact you if they are looking for a new home for their Schnauzer.
You could also try Schnauzer Houzer on Facebook, who do a great job of rehoming Schnauzers of all sizes and are always looking for potential adopters.
