Rehome a standard or mini Schnauzer Baltimore/DC area—July 20, 2020

by Bernard
(DMV area, DC/Baltimore)

We love rehoming Schnauzer’s. Our last one died shortly after my wife died of breast cancer. You would think she was more sad than I was. She would sit by the front door waiting for mom to come home—but she never did. Really prefer rehoming Schnauzers. I am a 60’s widowed single professional man who would love a little company. It would be an honor and a privilege to host a sweet Schnauzer. Have a fenced in yard, but would prefer to walk the little joy. Live in northwest Maryland between the DMV and Gettysburg PA. Thank you. Schnauzers are usually dogs with great temperaments. So looking forward to having another. Thank you!

Sorry for your losses
by: Linda

Dear Bernard, so sorry to hear of your losses, how very touching that your rescue Schnauzer was waiting for your wife. you must miss them both terrible. Going forward, you are right! Schnauzers really are the most wonderful companions.
We don't have Schnauzers to rehome ourselves, we put people who have one to rehome in touch with those offering a new home. Hopefully somebody in your area will contact you if they are looking for a new home for their Schnauzer,
However, due to the current Coronavirus situation, we are not getting Schnauzers that need rehoming as a lot of people are at home and have time for their dogs.
you could try Schnauzer Rescue of the Mid-Atlantic, which covers your area. Their email is info@schnauzerrescue.net
Good luck and best wishes for the future,
Linda
