Offering Forever Home for older mini - beach & countryside & comfy sofa, Jan 19

by Sandy
(Gower, Wales)

I live in Gower, County of Swansea, Wales and lost my last beloved Giant Scooby who died at 15yrs old. I feel I can no longer take on a pup and no longer want to do the 2hr walks morn and night that a Giant or Schnauzer deserves but would dearly love to have a companion for my now shorter walks and to catch up together in the evenings.
Have secure garden, can throw a ball, have transport and have a wonderful vet.

rescue sites
by: Izzy

Hi your can't replace your doggy friend (I have just lost one at 6 years a mini to cancer) try these rescue sites and you could also look at gumtree and preloved websites (as they still allowed to advertise pets)

In wales -search under schnauzer for greater results www.manytearsrescue.org/

www.dbarc.org.uk/

and they do lots of work for schnauzers through www.evensi.fr/page/schnauzerfest/10002311036

try also www.prodogsdirect.org.uk/ and other local centres near you- good luck in your search

That is such a lovely outcome.
Your dog is very lucky as no doubt, you know you are too. Thank you for being so reassuring...older or younger, we are going to be so grateful!
Fingers and paws crossed!

What a lovely post.

Sounds to me you can offer a lovely life to a older schnauzer. I lost my mini Harry on 17.06.17 and in October I posted on this very site for another companion and Charlie another mini came into my life. He now as his paws firmly under the table and as two settees!!!!. So I'm sure it won't be too long before this wonderful site helps you too. Good luck in your search.

Sorry for your loss

15 years old is a great age for a giant Schnauzer, you must have taken the best care of Scooby.
Good luck in your search.
