Offering a home to a miniature schnauzerHerefordshire 03.02.18

(Herefordshire)

Hi, I lost my Miniature Schnauzer, Max aged 12 in December. We had him from a puppy and he was the most gentle, wonderful dog. I am now looking to rehome another Miniature Schnauzer to live alongside my other dog, Freya, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. We rescued Freya from a local Charity. She is an ex puppy farm breeding bitch with a soft, gentle nature. I also look after my daughters 8 year old Tibetan Terrier most days, although he goes home to my daughter in the evenings.
I have had dogs all my life, the 2 most recent being rescue dogs, so am used to dogs with issues who need time and patience to settle.I am advised by the Charity that Freya came from, that she would find a puppy difficult, but other than that a dog or bitch would be fine.
I live in Ross on Wye and have a large garden and half acre paddock for the dogs to run in. I walk 3/4 miles every day in the countryside and further at weekends (I am currently training for the Yorkshire Three Peaks!)
I can pass on references from my vet and the Rescue Charity I have been working with.
I know that there are many dogs out there needing a home, but really want a Schnauzer as they are my favourite breed.
If any more information is required, please just ask.
Many thanks

England and Irish rescue centres
by: Izzy

sounds like you have lots of experience to help rescue dogs- some sites below - good luck in your search

www.manytearsrescue.org (search under schnauzer on the pages dogs looking for homes as gives a wider range of dogs)

www.msri.ie based in Ireland and dedicated to schnauzers

www.dbarc.org.uk they also do a lot of fund rasing and support for schnauzers through schnauzerfest

www.prodogsdirect.org.uk

try your local rescue centres as well and also you could look the preloved website as they still allowed to advertise dogs etc
