NEW HOME NEEDED FOR 2-y-o MINI SCHNAUZER, Derbyshire 11th Feb 23

(Chesterfield Derbyshire )

Hi,I live in the uk chesterfield.
I have a beautiful MS and she’s nearly 2.
I’m having problems with her biting people.
I cannot keep her due to having children.
It started when she was around 6 months old.
I cannot rehome her to just anyone and I wouldn’t but no one can take her because of this.
You guys are my last option. Please I need help.
She’s has bitten around 10 times and I have some photo evidence.
I cannot have anyone in my home.
She’s great with other dogs and great on the lead.
She’s a full MS salt and pepper.
Her name is romi. When I tell you she’s a very loving dog I mean it.
She just does not like people out off her home.
I cannot afford training as it will be an on going thing and the cost is high for this.
She is very spoilt and very loved and my heart is breaking but she needs help.

Hi Kirsty,
I am sure we can help you, we have lots of experienced owners coming on to the website looking for a Mini.
So sorry you have to rehome Romi, but it sounds like she needs extra training and it is not a good situation around your children.

She might also be better with another Mini, sounds like she has some fear/aggression issues. A dog is often more relaxed and less fearful with another dog around.
The only problem is that you haven't left us your email address, Kirsty.
Can you add a comment to this post with your with your email address and I am sure people will contact you.
It's such a tough decision but sounds like you are doing the right thing.
Best wishes,
Linda
