Mr Russell Stevenson - retired couple offer home

My wife and I are retired, and wish to provide a home for a miniature schnauzer in need of rescue. We had a rescue collie for 8 years but he died last November. We do not want to purchase a puppy.
We live in Cumbria, in the south Lake District area, but would happy to travel to any location in the UK to meet a dog requiring a good new home.

Linda and Max are definitely right.. Minis do do well in pairs, and usually do not suffer health problems if you look after them. and do not give them a fatty diet.. they love fresh vegetables and Chicken are their favourite.. well for my two.. Rebel who is 4 and Benji who is 1 year old on the 18th April.
Two are company for each other.. so I hope you will contact the couple who want to re-home Wilf & Walter.

Minis do well in pairs and are not much more effort than having one - of course, your vet's bills are double.
