Mini schnauzer looking for a new home

Hi
I am writing this with tears rolling down my face. We have a gorgeous black Mini schnauzer called Molly. We have had her since she was a puppy and she is now 8 years old.

She is a very loving dog, but barky when she is meeting people for the first time!! Unfortunately our lives have changed and we now have two young children and between me and my husband, work over 100 hrs a week. Because of this we know that we are not able to give Molly the life and attention she needs.

With a heavy heart we have decided that she really needs more and at the moment we just are not in a position to provide that.

We would love for her to go to a loving home, where she will be able to get lots of attention, walks and fuss. She loves her walks as much as she does snuggling up to you after them!!!

We live in Staffordshire, please get in touch if you are able to give her a home.

Rehiring Molly
by: Anonymous

Have you found another home for Molly yet? We are still interested if you haven't. We have our eight year old Schnauzer Murray and he would just love a pal his own size. Plenty walks here in the country. East Lothian Scotland.
Thank you
Wendy

Molly's Update
by: Nic Davies

Hi to everyone that commented on our post last summer.
I just wanted to update you with Molly's situation.
We did 'foster' her to a family, who absolutely adore her, but unfortunately it hasn't worked out for them, mainly due to how Molly is......
She is a very loving and dedicated dog, maybe too dedicated... she can be protective of her family unit, and this can mean that she is snappy at other dogs and people. She also doesn't behave too well when getting groomed, so someone who is experienced at grooming their own dogs would be good.
She does not get on with children very well, but loves to play games with adults.
Personally, I think she would do really well in an environment where there is another dog, that could perhaps keep her in check if you know what I mean.
I would really love to hear from anyone who is interested in giving Molly a loving home, where she will get lots of attention, but perhaps a home where there are no children.
Thanks again.

Special mini schnauzers
by: Linny

Having owned a mini schnauzer for 10 wonderful years we sadly had him euthanised in January this year due to bad health, he had suffered diabetes which had lead to pancreatitis & eventually blindness & he eventually developed vestibular disease....miss him dearly😪

Molly
by: Anne-Marie

Hi Nic, hopefully you have sorted a loving home for Molly now but in case you haven't. We would be very interested, I have emailed you, we lost our old girl Mollie in January with kidney failure and it broke out hearts. She also had a big voice lol! We have Henry who is 6 yrs old and a mini schnauzer, we have always had minis.
We live in Stafford so are close to you in Lichfield so could maybe meet up to see if the dogs get along? Henry misses his mollie.
Our children are grown up now and I'm a nurse and my hubby is an I.T manager.
We do have a cat that sleeps in the dog bed with Henry so Molly would have to be cat friendly, that's my only question really?
Would love to offer Molly a home.
Anne-Marie

Offering a loving home to your little lady!
by: Helen

Hi Nic,

Not sure why my previous comments on here are not appearing...? But I did email you directly with all our contact details so hopefully you will have received that...?

Anyway, it looks like you will not be short of offers to re-home Molly so that's the main thing.

Wishing you and Molly the very best of luck in finding the right home.

Take care.
Helen.

Rehoming Molly x
by: Wendy Raeburn

We have our Miniature Schnauzer Murray who is 8 years old and black. He is a bit noisy when we meet new people as well. :-). We would love to take Molly for you! We got Murray from a family in the same position as you.
We love our walks too, four a day. If you don't have anyone interested we would be so let us know!

Thank you
Wendy

So sorry
by: Linda and Max

So sorry to hear of your change in circumstances. What a tough decision, but it sounds like it might be the right decision. We have lots of experienced schnauzer owners out there and I am sure we can find Molly a good home.
Best wishes
