Loving home offered for a mini schnauzer / schnoodle in Sheffield

We would love to be able to re-home a mini schnauzer or schnoodle. We are a family of 4: myself, my husband our 2 daughters who are almost 11 and 14 years old. My husband and I are both teachers although I work part-time.
5 years ago we were thinking of getting a mini schnauzer / schnoodle puppy and were walking dogs at a local sanctuary.
We ended up falling in love with Kai, our now 9 year old pug who we walked and formed a bit of a bond with! He is such a kind, sweet natured and calm dog who is fab for us all but we have all started thinking of getting another dog to become part of our family too!

We live in a 4 bed semi-detached Victorian house in a quiet suburb of Sheffield. The house has lots of room but our garden is a small courtyard garden so we use the playing fields opposite our house as well as the local parks for most of our walks with Kai.
On the weekends and in the holidays, we are out in the Peaks as much as possible which are beautiful as as well as great to explore with a dog (or 2)!

We love the idea of being able to rescue another dog rather than buy a puppy and would be happy to re-home a dog from puppy age up to about 4 years old because we feel that our time with Kai is already passing very quickly.

Thank you for considering us if a dog became available to re-home. We are happy to drive to most places to visit and would love to welcome another dog into our home.

Best wishes,
Sarah and Wil Baker

Hi Sarah and Wil,
We don't have Schnauzers to rehome ourselves, we put people who have one to rehome in touch with those offering a new home. Hopefully somebody in your area will contact you if they are looking for a new home for their Schnauzer,
However, since Coronavirus, we are not getting Schnauzers that need rehoming as a lot of people are at home and have time for their dogs.
You can try The Miniature Schnauzer Club Re-Home and Rescue Trust - contact Caroline Wareing on 01242 696 768.
Or Schnauzer Houzer on Facebook, who do a great job of rehoming Schnauzers of all sizes and are usually looking for potential adopters.
And the co-ordinator for Northern Schnauzer Rescue is Pamela Ciceri (based in North Yorkshire) Pamela.ciceri@btinternet.com They also help to rehome Schnauzers.
Good luck!
PS Add a comment with your email address so people can contact you if they have a Schnauzer to rehome.
