Loving home offered for Mini or Standard 13th Dec 22

by Jacky
(Milton Keynes UK)

We recently lost our handsome collie/dalmatian cross after 15 memorable years. We are seeking another dog who would like to share our active lifestyle
We are a retired couple who have had dogs for the last 40 years. We really like the idea of a schnauzer standard or miniature and can offer a lovely house and garden as well as plenty of local walks in woods and around lakes. Really hope you can help us.
Yours Jacky and Alasdair MacIver

rescue

keep an eye out for rescues who take them in and then look to rehome like

https://friendsofanimalswales.org.uk/

https://www.manytearsrescue.org/index.php

though often they need a resident dog to help them adjust

good luck in your search

Very sorry for your loss
by: Linda

Dear Jacky and Alasdair,
Very sorry for your loss; 15 years is a great age for a dog, you must have taken the best care of him or her.
We don't have Schnauzers to rehome ourselves, we put people who have one to rehome in touch with those offering a new home. Hopefully somebody in your area will contact you if they are looking for a new home for their Schnauzer,
Since Covid, we are not getting lots of Schnauzers in need of rehoming as many people are still working from home and have time for their dogs. However, the situation is changing and dogs have started coming into rescue centres or are being advertised online when owners no longer have the time or money to keep them. If you do buy online, please check everything very carefully, THERE ARE A LOT OF SCAMS.
You can try The Miniature Schnauzer Club Re-Home and Rescue Trust - contact Caroline Wareing on 01242 696 768.

Good luck,
Linda
