I'm a retired ex teacher. I live with my son who is a totally committed dog lover. We both would love a schnauzer. Having looked after my sister-in-law's Schnauzer we were taken by his personality and have decided we would love one of our own.
My son is 43 and enjoys dog walking. He works part time so has time to exercise a dog. The "borrowed" Schnauzer adores him and becomes his shadow when he is here. Equally he is great company for me when I am home alone at times.
Sometimes there are children. especially my grandchildren here so a suitable match would need to like children. The grandchildren do have a dog of their own at their home. so are well used to them.
