Loving home for Schnauzer any size by the sea Isle of Wight, May 2022

by Peter Baxter
(Isle of Wight)

We have had schnauzers for 30plus years our last two being rescue dogs
Unfortunately last week our giant Zac passed away with cancer leaving Rupert our standard sad and lonely
We can offer a loving caring secure home we have a large totally fenced garden and are surrounded by country and coastal walks on the beautiful Isle of Wight
We are retired so have nothing but time
We insure our dogs and participate with our local vets healthy pet club with 6 monthly checkups
We participate in our local schnauzer walks club
So we are looking for a rescue schnauzer to offer a loving home with Rupert our standard schnauzer we have have thirty years experience with the breed and have helped with behavioural problems
We would be happy to keep you informed via video and email
My wife grooms our dogs to a good standard all in all a rescue schnauzer large or small would fill the gaping hole Zac’s passing has left in our lives
Also we would welcome visits to the beautiful Isle of Wight

Very sorry for your loss
by: Linda

Hi Peter,
Very sorry to hear of Zac's passing.
It sounds like he had a wonderful life with you down there on the Isle of Wight.
We don't have Schnauzers to rehome ourselves, we put people who have one to rehome in touch with those offering a new home. Hopefully somebody in your area will contact you if they are looking for a new home for their Schnauzer,
Since Covid, we are not getting many Schnauzers in need of rehoming as more people are at home and have time for their dogs. However, the situation is changing and dogs have started coming into rescue centres or are being advertised online when owners no longer have the time or money to keep them. If you do buy online, please check everything very carefully, THERE ARE A LOT OF SCAMS.
NOTE: on the internet/Facebook, Harrylucky7schnauzers based in Manchester is a SCAM. They are using the genuine Lucky7schnauzers an American breeder's photos and info. They ask you for a deposit of £400 then they will tell you their address (supposed to be in Manchester UK).
You can try The Miniature Schnauzer Club Re-Home and Rescue Trust - contact Caroline Wareing on 01242 696 768.
Or Schnauzer Houzer on Facebook, who do a great job of rehoming Schnauzers of all sizes and are usually looking for potential adopters.

Good luck,
Linda
