24/3/23 We are looking for a mini schnauzer to fill the big hole in our hearts left by our little girlie schnauzer who sadly died of cancer , we are retired so home all the time for cuddles , we have an enclosed garden and live near a very dog friendly park where all the dogs that go there are friends

We have a 7 year old Schnauzer called Gatwick
by: Morgan

Hello there,
we are desperately looking for a new home for our beloved Schnauzer, Gatwick.
Hes 7, salt and pepper and a lovely boy.
15 months ago we had a miracle baby (had been told for years it was not possible) and Gatwick is not coping with the life changes. He was always our prince and he is very stressed having to share our time / home with this alien invasion (the baby!)

We have tried training and support groups, more walks and carved out special time for him but we are not making and progress and I hate to see him so unsettled.

I have family in Somerset, near Mineahead and Gatwick has enjoyed lots of family camping holidays there.
Are you interested in talking more ? my email is morganelisabethb@hotmail.com if you want to reach out.

Morgan x

Very sorry for your loss
by: Linda

Hi Jennifer,
Very sorry to hear of the loss of your girl.
We don't have Schnauzers to rehome ourselves, we put people who have one to rehome in touch with those offering a new home. Hopefully somebody in your area will contact you if they are looking for a new home for their Schnauzer,
The situation is now changing Since Covid, and dogs have started coming into rescue centres or are being advertised online when owners no longer have the time or money to keep them.
If you do buy online, please check everything very carefully, THERE ARE A LOT OF SCAMS and puppy farms/people breeding for profit with little knowledge of Schnauzers.
You can try The Miniature Schnauzer Club Re-Home and Rescue Trust - contact Caroline Wareing on 01242 696 768.
Or Schnauzerfest on Facebook
The Schnauzer Club of Great Britain helps to rehome all three sizes. You can contact them online at They also help to rehome Schnauzers and will have rescue contacts throughout GB.
Good luck,
Linda
