Lottie, young female mini, still looking for a new home 23.05.18

by Justin
(Hampshire)

We are looking to find a new home for our 2.5 year old miniature schnauzer, Lottie. She is a lovely, charismatic dog but does have some issues with anxiety and is on medication for this following vet and behaviourist advice. Lottie is affectionate and has a great character, she is very partial to an ear scratch or a head rub!
We have had Lottie since she was a puppy and have worked hard to try to improve her confidence through training, she has made definite improvements. My wife and I now have a 4 month old daughter and feel that we can't offer Lottie the best environment for her to thrive. She would benefit from a calm household, ideally with another dog. Lottie loves going to our dog sitter where she knows other dogs, in this environment she is generally much calmer. We think Lottie would also be best suited to someone that has experience of owning dogs.
If anyone would be interested, we would love to hear from you. We know that in the right home Lotties' confidence would grow, and she would make a great canine companion.

We are a retired couple with one 10 year old snhnauzer called Josh and are looking for another one as we love the breed. A little girl would be ideal. Josh loves being with other schnauzers. We have a secure garden where they could run around together.
It would be really exciting for us and Josh to increase our little family.

Hi, my husband & I are retired & live in southern Spain, we have a female miniature Schnauzer who would dearly love a playmate. We have had Schnauzer ‘s, giant & mini’s, they are such a fabulous breed. With So much fun, intelligence & characters!
We have Darcy who loves to play with other dogs. She has so much inter action to share. We take her on long walks every morning.
We live in a very rural environment, which is a fully fenced in & safe.
We are driving back to our hometown of Southampton in the middle of May for a family visit, & would love to meet up with you & Lottie, and hopefully show you how genuine we are.
If Lottie doesn’t have a pet passport we would be happy to pay the cost of this & obviously send you regular updates of a great life in Spain.
Please consider us.
Lyn & Ian Williams

by: Sharon and Ian

Hi guys,

My name is Sharon and I live with my long term partner Ian in Hertfordshire North London. We are looking to re-home a schnauzer as we have another schnauzer called Theodore who we have had since he was 8 weeks old who is our love and joy. He comes everywhere with us and we treat him like a Prince. Unfortunately Theo lost his little sister about 2 years ago (very quickly ) and he misses having a younger dog around (especially a girl). I would love to talk to you about Lottie and I am sure we could help her with her anxiety and issues as we had the same problems with Theo and he is now a confident and easygoing dog! Please feel free to call me on 07986224716 anytime. My partner is self employed and Theo enjoys at least 2 walks a day as well as weekends with us in Brighton on the beach as we have a holiday home there ! xxx

Tough decision
by: Linda

Well done for trying to work through Lottie's issues and it is a tough decision, but she may well benefit from a home where somebody can give her the time she needs. Congratulations on your baby and good luck in finding a new forever home for Lottie.
