Looking to offer a home to a Schnauzer

Hello there!

My name is James, I am 27 and live with my girlfriend, a cat and a Spaniel. We are looking for one last family member to join our loving home - a schnauzer. Our house is big enough to accommodate a miniature or standard size schnauzer. We have a front and back garden and a park across the road. SO they will always be entertained and get plenty of outdoors.

We are both experienced dog owners, both having lived with dogs all of our lives. I used to have a schnauzer many years ago and have been waiting until I was in a good position to adopt a new one!

If you are looking to re-home a schnauzer and you think I might be the right fit then please get in touch! I drive so if you are not too far I can come and collect :-)

Hi Izzy,

Thanks for the reply. I can see there are quite a few lovely schnauzers on that website but unfortunately they are all very far away from Leeds :-( We would happily re-home a rescue Schnauzer so long as he / she is fine living with another cat and dog.

if you can help a rescue dog look for schnauzers (under breed on page looking for dogs) on many tears rescue
www.manytears.org

they recently had some schnauzer cross puppies and older dogs, some need to be rehomed where there is a resident dog already so your situation could be good

Good luck, James.
Just to say, you might have to. Make sue the Schnauzer is OK with your cat before agreeing a permanent home as many minis will chase cats.
