Looking for a standard Schnauzer companion

by Roy
(Forest of Dean)

Having had a mini for 13 years, and now in home-based semi-retirement I can offer a kind and loving home and companionship to a rescue dog. The standard Schnauzer is my preferred breed, though I would be prepared to rehome a Giant with the right temperament.

The must be capable of learning to be tolerant of visiting dogs and children.

The dog will certainly not be bored - I have 2.5 acres and would hope to train my companion to be a good dog to go camping and share rural pursuits with.

Ideal age would probably be 18 months-6 years. I can promise a loving and caring home. It will live in the house and will not be left for long periods

NOTE FROM LINDA SAND MAX:
Sounds like a great life for a dog, good luck in your search, Roy.

Are you still looking to regime schnauzer?
by: Pat

We are looking for a loving home for our 4 year old male miniature schnauzer called Max. He is a very good house dog who really only barks on a walk if he meets another dog. He's fine with our 2 grandsons aged 1 & 8. I developed a heart condition last year & his barking is a bit too stressful for me. We live in Gloucester.
