Looking for a dog for my mother 14.11.16

Hello we are looking for a miniature for a companion for my retired mother. My mum lives alone in a bungalow with a lovely garden. She is home the majority of the time but has. A couple of beUtiful parks and woods where she walks. She has visits from children on occasions so no aggressive behaviour please a and not an old dog .

Can you let me have any information as to whether I may eventually get a rescue dog
