We would dearly love to rehome a schnauzer. We lost ours a couple of years ago and miss her very much. Not to replace her as no two dogs are the same, though schnauzers do seem to have their own agenda! We are not looking for a cheap way to acquire a snhauzer, but we would prefer to rehome or rescue rather than buy a puppy. Although we are fit and healthy our current dog is over 16 and at 69/74 we have to consider our ages should we be lucky enough for another dog to enjoy such longevity.
We live in south lakes, Cumbria and until 2012 we lived in Spain when we returned to UK with our four elderly rescue dogs, the others were two longhairs terriers and a Spanish water dog.

This is my posting and I do apologise to anyone on here that I have not replied to, I have only just seen messages other than the one from a Sarah and I can see no way of replying to the others. Nothing has alerted me to the fact I had received the comments or suggestions so again, I am very sorry.

Rosie
by: Sarah

Hello, i am very reluctantly looking for a new forever home for my my 6 year old (7 in June) mini schnauzer girl, Rosie. My personal circumstances have changed a lot lately and I’m finding it difficult to give her all the attention she needs. I live in Penrith, Cumbria, feel free to contact me any time on sezcowps@gmail.com. She is a very loyal and loving dog and has grown up with a cat who she loves to play with.

Good luck in your search, yours sounds like an ideal home for a rescue schnauzer.
