home offered for female Schnauzer in Leeds

Wanted - a female mini schnauzer is wanted by a loving couple with a great home to rehouse a dog. She must be house trained and happy to sit quietly in the house between walks. We live in a rural part of Leeds with plenty places for us to walk and play with a dog that needs a new home.

Thanks for the all info, it's really very helpful. I live in Rodley its a really rural part of Leeds with a river, canal, meadows and fields all straight from my front door, I love walking out there, we would just love a companion now :-)

Linda and Max are most definitely right.. Schnauzers are very active dogs.. and can be very VOCAL & they love being in human company, but can get bored and naughty if left alone..If you decide on a Schnauzer please make sure you have a certificate for eye tests, as they are prone to eye disorders.. I forget what it's called, but Linda knows..
I guess you'd take her to Roundhay Park for walks.. My late husband & I used to live in Leeds until we moved to Dorset in 1977.. I have 2 Minis and love them to bits.. hope you find your girl.. soon..

Hi Anna,
Good luck with your search, but just to let you know that all schnauzers won't sit quietly between walks! Many are quite lively.
Max sometimes runs circles round the coffee table in the lounge - or around the lawn outside - trying to make us chase him.
