Gorgeous 9 month old male Mini Schnauzer needs a new loving home

by Sarah
(Kent UK )

We have made the heart breaking decision to rehome our lovely boy. Our circumstances have changed and I am soon to be working full time. My husband already works long hours and we realise that our situation just won't be fair on such a young dog. We have an older dog too but my mother in law is going to walk him whilst I'm working, however she is in her late seventies and physically unable to walk 2 dogs. Although we all love him we feel its in his best interests to find him a forever home now whilst he's still very young.
He is 10 months old, black and silver and quite small in size. He currently weighs 7.5kg.
He is fully up to date with vaccinations (inc kennel cough), and his advocate. Not yet chipped or neutered.
He is brilliant with children ( we have 3 children between the ages of 6 and 12), and loves other dogs. He is extremely socialable, great off lead and his favourite thing of all is having his tummy tickled. He has been quite slow to toilet train and still has the occasional accident, however I feel this could be easily sorted with some intensive training.
We are looking for a very special home for him, ideally a retired couple as he loves company, he sees himself as a bit of a lap dog and would happily sit on your lap all day, or a home with another dog for company, or a family where someone is at home most of the day.

If you think you may be interested in our lovely boy please email me with some details about yourself and I will get back to you and answer any questions you may have.

This is a really tough decision that has been made solely for his best interests and one we have thought about for quite a while. We will be very choosy and will not rush our decision to place him with the right new owners.

Now Re-homed
by: Sarah

Thank you all so much for your enquiries. I'm delighted to say that we have found the perfect home for our lovely boy. He is staying in the Kent area, going to a lovely family with children the same age as mine and a mum who works from home. We know they are the perfect match and will all be very happy.

NOTE FROM LINDA AND MAX:
Great news ,thanks for letting us know.

Forever home for your wee boy.
by: Wendy Raeburn

Hi we have a wee boy too and his favourite thing is getting his tummy rubbed! He just lost his brother and we know he needs a pal so they can look at each other and play together.

Murray is a wee darling aged six who loves sitting on our knees at home but he loves his walks and nonsense chasing when out on beach or in the country. We also have four pussycats aged 8 down to about two years because we just rescued him seven months ago.

I work partime 5 hours a day term time. My partner is full time my son is at Uni 3 days a week my daughter is at college 4 days. They both love our animals and take lots to do with their care too.

The only difficulty would be we have our holiday in July for two weeks so if you considered us we would not be able to get him till 14th July then I'm off for another 5 weeks to all settle in together?

I look forward to hearing from you fingers crossed.
Wendy
