Good home offered to Miniature Schnauzer (any age), Cheshire August 21st 22

by Richard
(Bowdon, Cheshire)

Hi, we lost our dear little girl, April to a cardiac arrest during August 21. April, who was herself an ex-puppy farm rescue, arrived a scared little girl. Eventually, she did make positive changes and gained confidence and was a real delight to have around our home, her home, a real little character!
Since her passing, our house has never been truly the same - we miss her dearly.... So, on to the practicalities, we live in Bowdon, Cheshire. We have plenty of experience with dogs, particularly Mini-Schnauzers, who may have trouble adjusting to new surroundings. We offer a loving home with our other Miniature Schnauzer, April's 'brother' (11 years old). We like take trips to the Cairngorms in Scotland at least twice a year where the dogs can roam along the mountain paths and in the near-by Abernethy woods.
We have no children (all grown-up!) so the house is quiet. In short, we can offer your dog a trouble-free life (and/or retirement home) and would also, if so desired, keep you up-to-date with his/her progress. For more information, and for references, please feel free to get in touch. Best wishes - Richard :-)

Very sorry for your loss
by: Linda

Dear Richard,
So sorry to hear about April's passing, they leave such a gap in our lives, don't they?
We don't have Schnauzers to rehome ourselves, we put people who have one to rehome in touch with those offering a new home. Hopefully somebody in your area will contact you if they are looking for a new home for their Schnauzer,
Since Covid, we are not getting lots of Schnauzers in need of rehoming as many people are still at home and have time for their dogs. However, the situation is changing and dogs have started coming into rescue centres or are being advertised online when owners no longer have the time or money to keep them. If you do buy online, please check everything very carefully, THERE ARE A LOT OF SCAMS.
NOTE: on the internet/Facebook, Harrylucky7schnauzers based in Manchester is a SCAM. They are using the genuine Lucky7schnauzers an American breeder's photos and info. They ask you for a deposit of £400 then they will tell you their address (supposed to be in Manchester UK).
You can try The Miniature Schnauzer Club Re-Home and Rescue Trust - contact Caroline Wareing on 01242 696 768.
Or Schnauzer Houzer on Facebook, who do a great job of rehoming Schnauzers of all sizes and are usually looking for potential adopters.
And the co-ordinator for Northern Schnauzer Rescue is Pamela Ciceri (based in North Yorkshire) Pamela.ciceri@btinternet.com They also help to rehome Schnauzers.
Good luck,
Linda

PS Robbie in Falkirk has just come up for rehoming today.
