Former owner offers experienced home to2 Mini Schnauzers, Dorset 7/6/25

by Steve
(Dorset)

Owned Schnauzers for 10 years but both now deceased. Would like to adopt a pair of adult Mini Schnauzers looking for a forever home. Retired, live by the sea, lots of beach walks, own house and garden, single.

Pao Pao NEW
by: Izzy

hello - great to be able to adopt a pair but often don't come up- Dogs Friends in Somerset sometimes have them as do Friends of Wales.

There is a male 18months in China saved from the meat trade- called Pao Pao if you were interested and then could adopt another later? savingharbindogs.net for details. I have had two sisters adopted together , sadly one died but have another one so back to two. Good luck

Hi Steve,
Sorry for the delay, I’ve been on holiday.
We don't have Schnauzers to rehome ourselves, we put people who have one to rehome in touch with those offering a new home.
Hopefully somebody in your area will contact you if they are looking for a new home for their Schnauzer.
The co-ordinator for Northern Schnauzer Rescue is Pamela Ciceri. Her email is: Pamela.ciceri@btinternet.com.
Pamela is based in North Yorkshire but we have found her to be VERY successful in matching rescue Schnauzers with waiting families all over Britain. I recommend you send Pamela an email before contacting anyone else.
Mini SAS on Facebook helps to rehome Minis.
You can also try The Miniature Schnauzer Club Re-Home and Rescue Trust - contact Caroline Wareing on 01242 696 768.
The Schnauzer Club of Great Britain helps to rehome all three sizes. You can contact them online at https://www.schnauzerclub.co.uk/contact.php
ManyTears Rescue in Wales often has Minis for rehoming as well. www.manytearsrescue.org
There is a Facebook group that might be useful:
Miniature Schnauzer Puppies For Adoption & Rehoming
Good luck,
Linda
