ex-Standard schnauzer owners offer to rescue another, Merseyside, August 20

(Merseyside St Helens )

Hi we live in St Helens Merseyside and are looking to adopt a rescue standard schnauzer. We have had a beautiful girl schnauzer before and had to have her put to sleep about 8 years ago. It broke our hearts even though she was the grand old age of 12 years. We have a son of 21 years and an 11 year old daughter. We also have 2 cats who are also rescue animals. We have friends with dogs who come to the house to see us and this doesn't seem to bother the cats. Many thanks

Hi Kath,
We don't have Schnauzers to rehome ourselves, we put people who have one to rehome in touch with those offering a new home. Hopefully somebody in your area will contact you if they are looking for a new home for their Schnauzer,
However, due to the current Coronavirus situation, we are not getting Schnauzers that need rehoming as a lot of people are at home and have time for their dogs.
You can also try The Miniature Schnauzer Club Re-Home and Rescue Trust - contact Caroline Wareing on 01242 696 768.
Or Schnauzer Houzer on Facebook, who do a great job of rehoming Schnauzers of all sizes and are always looking for potential adopters.
And the co-ordinator for Northern Schnauzer Rescue is Pamela Ciceri (based in North Yorkshire) Pamela.ciceri@btinternet.com They also help to rehome Schnauzers.
Good luck!
PS Add a comment with your email address so people can contact you if they have a Schnauzer to rehome.
