Experienced home offered with two other minis in Hampshire 21st July 22

by Louise
(Hampshire)

Looking to rehome or rescue a 3 to 4 year old dog. I currently own 2 minis, one aged 7 , the younger aged 4. My younger girl is a very cautious little girl and I think she would struggle to be on her own when my elder one passes on. So I’m looking ahead now, to give a loving home with a great outdoor life, no children , to a little boy who has not had the love he deserves.

Ralph
by: Linda

If you are still looking for another mini, I think your experience and other 2 Schnauzers might be the ideal solution for Ralph, who is nearly 3 and in London and needs a new home.
I've sent you details,
Best wishes,
Linda

Ralph needs a new home, can you help?
by: Linda

SEE THE PAGE:

I'm reaching out to see if you can help with rehoming my pet Ralph. He's almost 3yrs old and whilst I love him dearly, his triggers and impulsive nature, coupled with living in a City are now just a little too much for us to handle.
I feel Ralph will be much happier out of London, away from his triggers and in a more controlled environment with a garden.
Ralph's triggers:
skateboards
rollerskates
cats
children
high prey drive
Ralph is not good with small children and has lunged and nipped on 2 occasions.
We have worked with trainers and behaviourists over the last 2/3 years and still finding a lot of issues which we think are made worse by living in London, Ralph growing up through lockdown and impact on some socialisaion aspects that COVID limited.
I have been in touch with the dogs trust, but am reluctant to send him to a kennel and would love to be able to know where he is going, what I think would suit Ralph:
Family home with lots of outside space
no young children
no cat
quiet area with few distractions
he'd love to be with other dogs
Many thanks and hope to hear from you with any tips/advice on next steps.
Regards,
Chrishan

Schnauzer for Adoption
by: Lee Abraham

I have a 5 year old schaunzer for adoption. He is a great little boy with a great deal of character. Reason for adoption will be explained if you contact me. He can’t go to home with small animals like a cat, rabbit or tortoise.

If you are interested please contact me at lee.abraham1212@gmail.com

Many thanks

good luck!
by: Linda

Dear Louise,
It sounds like a lovely life for a Mini Schnauzer!
We don't have Schnauzers to rehome ourselves, we put people who have one to rehome in touch with those offering a new home. Hopefully somebody in your area will contact you if they are looking for a new home for their Schnauzer,
Since Covid, we are not getting lots of Schnauzers in need of rehoming as many people are still at home and have time for their dogs. However, the situation is changing and dogs have started coming into rescue centres or are being advertised online when owners no longer have the time or money to keep them. If you do buy online, please check everything very carefully, THERE ARE A LOT OF SCAMS.

You can try The Miniature Schnauzer Club Re-Home and Rescue Trust - contact Caroline Wareing on 01242 696 768.
Or Schnauzer Houzer on Facebook, who do a great job of rehoming Schnauzers of all sizes and are usually looking for potential adopters.

Good luck,
Linda
