Experienced home for Mini or Standard, Norfolk, 6/2/21

by Mrs Robinson

I’m looking to adopt a schnauzer. I live in a rural village in Norfolk uk . I have a very large secure garden and cottage I have lost my standard schnauzer December 2019 and my miniature schnauzer September 2020 both had been rescue dogs . I miss them terribly and would dearly love another schnauzer.

Good luck

If you are prepared to wait you can put your name down on a list for a puppy with an Assured breeder. Also, lots of young dogs are now being advertised on sites like Preloved as people realise they don't have the time and commitment for that dog they got a few months ago.

Sorry for your loss
by: Linda

so sorry you have lost both of yours.
We don't have Schnauzers to rehome ourselves, we put people who have one to rehome in touch with those offering a new home. Hopefully somebody in your area will contact you if they are looking for a new home for their Schnauzer,
Since Coronavirus, we are not getting Schnauzers that need rehoming as a lot of people are at home and have time for their dogs. However, I am hearing that that situation is slowly changing and dogs have started coming into rescue centres or are being advertised online when owners no longer have the time or money to keep them. If you do buy online, please check everything very carefully, there are a kot of scams.
You can try The Miniature Schnauzer Club Re-Home and Rescue Trust - contact Caroline Wareing on 01242 696 768.
Or Schnauzer Houzer on Facebook, who do a great job of rehoming Schnauzers of all sizes and are usually looking for potential adopters.
Good luck!
