Autistic Children desperately seeking forever friend

by Autismmummy
(North west)

Our 3 sons have autism and we have looked after a friend's dog every so often to help support our sons' needs and for them to connect with. Our friends miniature has got our eldest through anxiety our middle through an operation and our youngest who is 4 to talk who was none verbal until we were given the gift of the dogs company for a month.
Unfortunately our friends are relocating abroad and our ' shared ' time with Bruno will have to cease. We have never met a breed of dog so in tune and perfect for our autistic family and it is our hope that we Can give a schnauzer a new forever home. I've been blessed to see the amazing power of man's best friend and how amazing the benefits have been for our children and how well suited this breed is for my boys. Please help

Do it you won't be sorry we got a 7 year d girl retired from breeding she made such a difference to our 2 kids with autism but the next dog we got still a mini is very very nervous so be guided by the breeder and I would recommend an adult not a puppy xx

borrow my doggy
by: Izzy

Hi while you waiting for a mini do you know about this site- borrow my doggy- opportunity to 'borrow' a local dog (subject to joining and checking people of course) chance for the children to interact with other types of dogs though one might be a schnauzer

good luck in your search
