9-year-old male mini schnauzer in Cheshire needs new home

Unfortunately we need to rehome our lovable 9-year-old Mini Schnauzer due to work committments. We live in the Stockport area of Cheshire, UK. He has a fantastic temperament and it is with great regret that we have to do this. He is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and KC registered.
He does have a skin allergy and has an injection every month which I administer. I have him insured with Petplan.

Hi Kate, really sorry to hear you have to rehome your beloved Mini, he sounds like a wonderful chap and we are sure many people will contact you through our website.
As we say to all our owners who are forced to rehome their Schnauzers, please take the time to find the right home for him and then please let us know the result, as many of our readers really do follow our rescue section and are always asking if a dog was succesfully rehomed.
It must have been a very difficult decision, but probably the right one if you are unable to devote the time he needs.
We wish you the very best of luck in finding a new, loving home where he will be happy.

Hi Carla

Yes still available at the moment. He is 9 not 8 my mistake on the posting!

His skin condition is low tollerance to some grasses and house dust/mites. I administer an injection every month and he goes on antibiotics when he flares (normally 2 x a year May or Sept). He is covered by Petplan and his premeium is currently £40 per month (excess £115). Petplan will transfer his insurance to a new owner. I WISH YOU THE VERY BEST KATE AND KNOW HOW YOU FEEL THEY GET SO ATTACHED TO YOU. UNFORTUNATELY I CAN"T HELP BECAUSE I LIVE IN THE US BUT I"M SURE AND WILL PRAY FOR YOU THAT SOMEONE ADOPTS YOUR PET BECAUSE I KNOW HOW MUCH IT MEANS TO HAVE YOUR FRIEND TO GO TO A GOOD HOME AND WE LOST OURS HE WAS ONLY 6 YEARS OLD AND HAD DIABETES SO WE ARE NOT EVEN OVER OUR LOSS YET,
