Hello- I am looking to adopt a mini schnauzer for my mom who recently lost her rescue schnauzer to liver cancer after having her for only 1 year. Mom is in her 80's but is healthy, spry, dog savvy and has a ton of love to give another companion. Her only other pet is a very aloof cat, and mom's day usually revolves round the dog's needs, including frequent long walks, good food and lots of one-to-one time. We are looking for a middle-aged schnauzer (4-8) who is healthy, housebroken and enjoys leash-walks and a quiet lifestyle with lots of attention.
