Wonderful News...My NEW Companion!

by Elizabeth
(Jacksonville, Texas)

Hi Max & All,
We have "officially" decided to bring home our new Mini Schnauzer next month. She is a Parti Schnauzer, very loving and affectionate and fully house trained (a huge stress off of me as w/t my seizures, lack of sleep and stress causes me to have my convulsions, hence why a puppy was a no-go).
We are excited and our son can hardly wait! At 5 yrs., she is still quite playful and energetic yet she will be the perfect "lap friend" for me as well on those long days when I am home alone.
We're going to carry her to a local pet store to have her professionally groomed (schnauzer cut) and within the next month or so I've already spoke to our Vet to have her spayed and tried to get our finances in order just for that.
It seems as though I've went through the wringer to have me a new companion but I truly believe that everything works out in this life the way that it should and perhaps God above has a plan for our lives and NOTHING happens until he is ready for it to happen.
Perhaps I myself needed to be in that right "place" before a new companion came to me, who knows.
Either way I am thankful and life is so much healthier when you have the blessing of sharing it with a pet (esp. in my situation).
I'll try to keep you informed of how things are going but if not, know that I'm just enjoying my new found best friend.
Till then take care and God bless all.

Good Luck!

Good Luck Elizabeth with your new arrival.
I am from England, and always read the Max emails as my son and daughter-in-law have two schnauzers, who we adore and borrow frequently.
I look forward to hearing more about your little dog. From Rosemary.
