Will her beard grow back?

We had to have our mini schnauzer's beard cut, beacuse she got into some sticky syrup (have no idea how) and the groomer cut off her beard..its been at least a little over a month, and I see no beard growing back.
Will it? She looks so different with out it, we all miss it!!
