Why does my miniature schnauzer keep going to a different room?

My miniature schnauzer is 8 and for the most part social and an attention seeker though sometimes she will leave us to go into the bedroom to be alone. Any one else experience this.

Interesting comment about toothache.
It's good advice to get yours checked out by a vet.

My eight year old Mini Schnauzer being aloof.

our wee boy kept going into another room and not joining in. We realised he had toot ache and had to get 18 teeth out. Now he's like a wee puppy again and is jumping onto the couch and making his presence known! Not sure how your wee dogs teeth are but might be worth a check?

No, that is unusual, it sounds like she just wants her space, which is unusual for Schnauzers.
We have noticed that Max, now 11, switches off and sometimes goes and hides and trembles if he thinks there is too much going on and/or he is being ignored.
The vet says it is psychological.
Check her our for physical injury/illness and if, not, it is probably all in her head -maybe the house is too noisy or she is being ignored?
Schnauzers are sensitive little critters.
