Urinating problems

My Mini Schnauzer is 1 year old. Recently he started urinating in the house, or dribbling. When we take him out to go after his first urination he tries to urinate several times after ....maybe 6 or 7 times and acts like he has to go but only squats. Prior to this we had loose bloody stools and changed his food to Blue Buffalo. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
