Too Much Poop!

I have a 7 year old white miniature schnauzer female. I have lowered her dose of food to 1.5 cups of food per day to bring her weight down.
My problem is she poops all the time. Not diarrea, just poops a lot. How can I stop this?
I take her out before bed, she poops, then in the middle of the night she poops in the house.
Makes me crazy.

I went to school to be a dog groomer, so I'm NOT a VET but while in school I learned that dogs do not digest corn products it just passes through the system... if corn product (corn meal, whole grain corn, ground corn or anything else corn-related) is one of the first 5 ingredients in your dog's food, you might want to switch to one that has rice instead. hope the info helps. **oh and if a dog eats soft food constantly his/her teeth fall out prematurely.. hard food is a better choice**
BUT check with a vet and see what is the best for YOUR dog.

This is disgusting.. maybe you are feeding her too much !! especially if you say you need to make her lose weight..
My Rebel & Rambo only have 195grams of Nature-diet Chicken Vegetables & Rice each ( the container is 390grams, I divide it between the 2 of them ) and I add a half cup of mixer.. they eat it all up always.. and only toilet when I go a walk the following morning. I feed mine between 3.30 & 4.0.pm every day with no problem as they always ask to go out..I also take them a walk about an hour after they have had their tea, then if they want to go again they can.. Talk to your vet if your problem continues...
