Shaking head

by Patty

I gave my 13 week old Schnoodle a bath last night and now he is shaking is head. Could it be water in the ear? What can I do for it?

Probably, dry very carefully with cotton wool buds but it could be an allergy so take to vet if it persists

Shaking Head after bathing
by: Toni

Sounds like you might be on to something here. Get some ear drops quick and put into the ears so they won't become infected. My Mini has cropped ears, but I hold them down tight to her head when I pour water over her head because last year she got an ear infection and it was very uncomfortable for her. She shook her head, and scratched at her ears for a few days until mommy realized what happened. If you can't get the shaking stopped with the ear drops after a few days, better take the pup to the vet. Ear infections are nothing to fool with and you don't want her going deaf. Best wishes!

Head Shake after bath

I suggest you make sure his ears are dry .. but do not use anything that's dangerous as ears are very tender,, Dry them very gently with a soft towel and he'll be fine.. I guess he has water in his ears.. try protecting them with cotton wool in each next time you give him a bath.. that's what I do with my two boys..
