Picture On Internet

Hello,
One of my two dogs has what appears to be allergy 'Hot Spots' or sores on her body. Vets near me are not getting to the bottom of her problem fast enough as it has been over two months and she is not feeling good because of it. Long story. I found a web page with many pictures of different dogs with all kind of sores from allergies. One of them with a similar sore as my dog had the max-the-schnauzer.com web address on the image. I thought if I could contact the owner of this dog and see if their dog`s symptoms were similar to mine, I could possibly get some knowledge of treating this.
Hope you do not mine me contacting you, but I thought it worth a try.
PEACE

Schnauzer "hot spots"
by: Anonymous

My Schnauzer had "hot spots" until a groomer told me to switch his food to Natural Choice. I did and no more hot spots!

One of mine had an issue with hot spots. I tried a number of different products to get rid of them. Sometimes they would go away for a month or two. Other times not at all. Switched her dog food and they cleared right up.

Hi There Steve,
I don't know which photo it was and have no way of finding out, but a lot of Schnauzers have allergies. you don't say what breed your dog is.
Common causes with Schnauzers and many other breeds are: caused by contact or inhalant allergies -grass, pollen, or chemicals around the house. Is it seasonal or all year round?
flea bite allergies -ve common
Or it could be food -try a raw or cooked diet or a prepared food without preservatives,
Good luck.
