Our 22 lb. 12 yr. old Mini Schnauzer ate a sugar donut that my wife had left on the coffee table unattended for a minute or so.
Any problem or signs to look for ?

Thanks for your comments and advice. She (Mandy)
made it through the day and night yesterday with no apparent effects, other than guilt signs for a short time. We're thankful there was no chocolate involved.

Hi Rich,
Too much sugar can make them scratch, or slightly upset their tummies, but your Mini should be fine (unless he is diabetic).
If (s)he does scratch, it will only be temporary.
Make sure drinking water is available.
Look after your old pal,
