Night Incontinence

by Kellie

My 8 yr old mini schnauzer has been wetting herself at night recently. She has a doggie door to outside, but she wet her own bed & herself this morning. I am very concerned for her as she has not seemed to have been herself lately. More quiet than usual, not as much energy, & jumping up less onto the couch.

best to get checked out
by: Izzy

one of our minis started weeing in the house during the night which was not usual for him, he was also not as lively- we thought urine infection but when checked out has diabetes and an under active thyroid gland and a couple of liver issues! anyway with treatment , which took a while to adjust and get a right balance he is a changed dog- back to his cheeky self and loads more energy so yes get your checked- hope all goes well

vet
by: Linda and Max

I would get her straight off to the vet. It could be a urinary infection -or other issue - which needs treating ASAP.
From your email, something is definitely amiss, so get her seen by a professional, don't delay.
Good luck.
