My three year old mini schnauzer won't eat.

He doesn't want to eat he'll only drink water. He seems kinda sad and he only wants to be around my dad- (his favorite person) he's been throwing up a little only a couple of times since Friday- it's kinda liquidy.( I think he may also have diarrhea...)
Not a lot but I'm getting really worried. He's not overweight and has been healthy. Any ideas? I'm getting VERY nervous. Oh and he also keep making sounds with his mouth I can't describe it. He just doesn't seem with it today... :/ :(

Thank goodness he's OK now, as it must have been very worrying for you.. will he be Ok for life or does he have to have medication to prevent it happening again.?. Did you approach the breeder to see if it was hereditary. ? I would have done.. but I'am so glad your baby is better now..

My baby ended up having pancreatitis! Thanks thought. Mini Schnauzers are very prone to pancreatic cancer/ any issue w their pancreas but he's okay now! Thanks again.

My suggestion is .. Get him to the vet IMMEDIATELY, as if he's throwing up and not eating, he most probably has a tummy bug, gastroenteritis, and needs antibiotics. If you leave it, his system will weaken, and he may develop problems later.. Has he eaten something in your garden that could cause this ? as some plants, flowers, fruit & vegetables, are poisonous to dogs..Your mini-schnauzer being sad must make you know that something is not right.. I'm sure he'll be back to normal very soon.. with treatment from your vet, he's young... Chicken and Plain Rice usually work, to get his appetite back, but your vet will probably suggest that..
