My schnauzer don’t want to walk and his back curled up

Since this past Saturday, my dog wake up with no energy and when I told him let go outside to potty he just stand started to shake his back curled up and didn’t want to walk at all. He just stands and shakes and stares at me, is this normal? He just turn 12 years old and my girls start crying because he is not acting like him self, but the funny thing is that when he saw his dog friend a golden retriever, is like nothing is happening!!
Should I get concerned about this or is because he is just getting old?
