My schnauzer doesn’t like me

We was given a 4 year old schnauzer, she is my husbands shadow and actually sleeps on the other side of him. She doesn’t like me and almost bit me. How can I get her to like me

I'm sorry - that's no fun! I would second what the other person said about feeding all of the meals. I would also consider putting him/her on a leash and keeping him/her with you at all times. Walk him/her, give treats for good behavior, try clicker training, all while he/she is "attached" to you by the leash. This builds trust and respect.

Some Schnauzers can attach themselves to one person and be jealous of another.
We would recommend that the dog does not sleep with your husband, but in a basket or crate on the floor of the bedroom
Secondly, you should feed the dog all her meals so she gets to associate you with good things.
Thirdly, talk gently to her, try playing with her and rewarding good behaviour with treats.
If she associates you with good things, it will be good. Be patient and gentle....if you follow this advice you will gain her trust and affection.
