My minnie Schnauzer urinates a lot

Abbie, my 3 year old miniature Schnauzer seems to urinate about 5 times in different spots when she goes out, she doesn't drink a more than normal amount of water and plays and runs with the vigor of a younger dog, is this normal?

Have your dogs blood checked for high sugar. Our Yorkie was doing the same and he turned out to be a diabetic. He now gets two shots a day and can only eat prescription dog food.. Good luck to you!

It is common for males to urinate a lot, Max might do more than 20 on a walk. Most females go far less, but some females go urinate a lot to leave their scent.
Keep an eye on the amount she is drinking, if she drinks normally then you don't appear to have a problem, it is normal behaviour for her. Often it is more dominant females who like to leave their scent.
