Mini Schnauzer that goes crazy when I water my plants

Has anyone had their mini schnauzer cry and freak out when you turn on the garden hose and try to water your plants? She wants to attack the hose and drink the water.

Hi Anita,
Apologies for the delay in replying, I’ve been on holiday.
Lots of dogs react when the hose is switched on -they either love it or hate it!
Most dogs try and jump in and lick the water without getting too wet, although some others love getting wet.
Sounds like your Mini might be a bit excited or even a bit frightened by the hose.

I wouldn't worry too much, and definitely wouldn't try and splash her, as it might make her more nervous/excited.
