Lost our lovely girl, looking for another

by Brian C
(gloucestershire, UK)

We lost our lovely miniature some time ago and looking to rehome an adult boy or girl. We live in North Gloucestershire. Tried many sites, homes etc without any luck.
Just been to Northampton to see a four year old. he's not a schnauzer, some sort of cross, about 1/2 the size he should be. nice little dog but sadly he snarls and growls even at the kennel girl although he has been there for some weeks. no way I could get near him still less touch him. How much TLC would he need before he became able to be handled - if ever?

Another Schnauzer
by: Anonymous

So sorry for your loss even though it was some time ago..the one you saw which was not 100% a schnauzer, he has probably been bullied in his previous home and that's why he growls which is such a shame as he may never find another forever home.. he needs a behaviourist to teach him that all owners are not bad.. anyway I do hope you find your schnauzer soon.. try Schnauzer Rescue in other parts of the country, but make sure that the one you get has had Eye Checks otherwise he'll go blind, Good Luck and look forward to a photo eventually..
