Jackie and Molly - cancer surgery

by Jackie
(Pine City, Minnesota)

My 6 year old female has just had surgery to remove her spleen and cancerous 3 lb tumor. All organs looked good, what are her long range chances of survival?

Spleen removal
by: Cindi and dean

Our 15 year old Schultzie had his spleen removed in December of last year. My brother-in-law (our vet) gave him six months. Schult's spleen had a grapefruit sized tumor on it as well. He is doing great! He has gained weight and he looks fabulous. His skin problems have cleared up and my brother-in-law is amazed. Keep the faith!
