Is he really a white Miniature Schnauzer?

OK, I have a "Miniature" white Schnauzer puppy he is 4 months old and weighs 18.6lbs so far, is he really a miniature or a standard?
Also, how come the White Schnauzer is not recognized?

Looks like a white mini to me.

I have a white mini as well. Even the vet said that whites always seem to run a bit larger. I don't remember his weight at four monthes, but he is almost 30 pounds now at the age of 5. His weight is good for him; he is not fat at all. I think standards are between 40 and 50lbs. I have also never heard of a white standard.

It is a mini

Standard Schnauzers don't come in white. Standards are also extremely rare compared with a mini, rare enough that they are worth more and closely followed by the breeders and Standard Schnauzer community. You would not have ended up with a Standard by accident. He is a big lovable mini!

He looks like one

He certainly looks like a white miniature schnauzer, but he also looks older than 4 months old.
He doesn't look fat either. Are you sure he is only 4 months old - that is only 17 weeks and still a puppy, whereas your photo looks like an older dog.... but, yes, definitely looks like a white mini schnauzer.
