Happy Ending for Windsor the White Schnauzer

I have 3 schnauzers, a white, black and salt and pepper. I found Windsor, my white schnauzer 2 years ago running loose on a main road... he weighed 8 pounds and had been severly abused.
I am happy to say after lots of TLC and vet care he is 20 pounds now and is like a totaly different dog :)

We love our white schnauzers. Two of them are rescues, both throw aways because their owners didn't want the responsibility of taking care of their medical problems. Shelly was left at the pound outside the door. She had bladder stones, 5 of them the size of a quarter. Schnauzer Love Rescue picked her up and had the surgery done. We adopted her last March. Tucker was a throw away because he was born with a heart deformity. He has had two heart surgeries to correct the valve issue and is one happy, bouncing boy. He came to us at 6 months of age and when we took him to the University of Florida they drained almost a quart of water from his belly. It was so sad, I couldn't bear to look at him. He is almost four now and is happy, healthy and just full of himself. These creatures are God's gift to us and we must take care of them. They give us such joy. I coudn't imagine what life would be like without them. Windsor is a very lucky pup.
